Sincere here, I’m back and I have a review for you. The title of the book is The Watsons Go To Birmingham. Lets meet the characters. First there is Kenny, the middle child who is 10 and reminds me of me! Byron, the oldest, and the most annoying because he pranks Kenny all the time. Last there is Joey, the youngest, who believes everything that Byron says. This book is about a family trip during the civil rights movement in the United States. This is the most hilarious book ever made! My favorite part was when Byron’s face was stuck to the car window! He was scraping the ice off the windows and started kissing himself in the mirror at -100 degrees!! You should read this because it was great story and there was a lot to relate to in this book.
Sincere here, I have another book that I want to share with you. This is another book from the David Mortimore Baxter series. This one is called Liar. In this story, David starts to lie, lie, lie about every single thing. For example he makes up the dog breed Bullydoodle. This is a really good book. My favorite part is when David goes to find a broom and gets locked in the closet on a cruise ship. You have to read for yourself to find the results of his adventure. A piece of advice, when you lie you have to keep telling lies on top of that one lie. So it’s best not to lie at all. Sincere here, back again with another great book report. This is another book from one of my favorite series David Mortimore Baxter called The Truth. We had the usual characters David, Harry the pest and Zoe who practically lives in the mall. David tries to get popular but fails. He thinks bending the truth will make him popular, but it only gets him in trouble. I would recommend this book because it teaches you that honesty is your best option. My favorite part of the book is when half the school came to David's house because he told them that Smashing Smorgan would be there for Sunday dinner. After that disaster, David promises not to lie anymore and his parents decided that if he told even a little white lie they would take his dog to the pound. You can read to find out what happens. One thing I learned from David is you should always tell the truth because it gets you what you want. Hi, I'm Sincere and this is my book review of David Mortimore Baxter: Excuses. First, let’s meet the characters. David is 9 years old and in the 3rd grade. He lives with his mom, dad, brother and sister. Harry, David’s younger brother drives David crazy. Zoe, as many teenage girls do, lives in the mall. In this book David gives kids excuses for all kinds of situations. Excuses for dinner time, homework, bully’s, and even cleaning your room. It was fun to read. He explains what really happened in the situations. I liked this book. It was funny and cool. My favorite part was when David forgot his homework at home and told Ms.Stacy the teacher that someone stole his book bag. Harry stole his book bag before hand and he hid it. Maybe David could add this to his collection..... Mom: “Take a shower.” David: “I can't. I’m allergic to chlorine.” |
